What is PLL?

PLL (Permutation of the Last Layer) is the final step of the CFOP method. After OLL, the top face is one color but the pieces may be in the wrong positions. There are 21 PLL cases that swap corner and edge pieces into their correct positions to finish the solve. Recognizing PLL cases is done by looking at the side colors of the last layer — the colored bars and headlights pattern.
